Platfon does not publish a price list. This guide explains what moves the price of an aerial work platform, what to include in a quote request for a quick and accurate answer, and which costs to budget beyond the machine itself.

Height and structure come first. A 15.8 m (51.8 ft) PS-16 Scissor Lift needs a taller scissor stack and a wider, heavier chassis than a 7.8 m (25.6 ft) PS-08, and the machine weight shows it: 3,540 kg (7,804 lb) against 1,500 kg (3,307 lb). Boom lifts add a turntable, jointed sections and counterweight to achieve their outreach.
Power and drive are the second big factor. A battery-powered slab scissor built for flat floors is the simplest configuration. Four-wheel drive, automatic leveling outriggers, a diesel engine with its exhaust system or a crawler undercarriage each add components, and larger decks need a stronger hydraulic system to lift them.
Platform size, capacity and equipment complete the picture. Extension decks, higher rated loads, full-height entry gates, proportional controls and additional safety functions are all reflected in the price, as are export packing and the paperwork for the destination country.
Two buyers asking for the same model rarely need exactly the same thing. Options, quantity, the delivery point and the documents required in the country of use all change the figure, so a published list price would be either wrong for you or buried under conditions. A written quote for your actual requirement is more useful, and it gives you a firm basis for comparison.
To get an accurate quote at the first attempt, include the following in your request:
The price depends mainly on working height, power and drive system, platform size and options, plus quantity and delivery terms. A compact indoor machine such as the AT5.5 Scissor Lift and a 4WD rough-terrain unit such as the PRT18E Scissor Lift are in very different price brackets. Platfon does not publish prices; send your requirement and you will receive a written quote for the exact configuration.
Because a single figure would rarely match what a buyer actually needs. Options, quantity, destination, freight and the documents required in the country of use all change the final price. A quote based on your requirement shows exactly what is included, which makes it far easier to compare with other offers on a like-for-like basis.
Working height is usually the largest single factor, because a taller machine needs a bigger lifting structure and a heavier chassis. Next come the machine type, whether scissor, boom, mast or tracked, then the power and drive system, the rated load and platform size, and the equipment level. Delivery terms and order quantity shape the final figure. Our overview of MEWP types explains each family.
Not necessarily, because configuration matters more than fuel. Platfon's PRT18D Diesel Scissor Lift and the electric PRT18E share the same 17.95 m (58.9 ft) working height and 680 kg (1,500 lb) capacity, so they make a fair comparison. Ask for both in one request and weigh the purchase price against fuel or charging, maintenance and where the machine will actually work.
The working height, the number of people and weight of materials on the platform, indoor or outdoor use, ground conditions, any access restrictions, the quantity and the delivery country. If you already have a model in mind, name it, and mention any alternatives you would consider. The more precise the request, the fewer questions are needed before a firm quote.
Yes, quote requests from other countries are welcome. State the delivery country and your preferred delivery terms, for example ex works or delivered to a named port, so the quote covers the right scope. Import duties, local registration and national inspection rules follow the law of the destination country, so check them early with your freight forwarder or customs broker.
Yes. Rental companies, contractors buying several units and resellers can request one quote for a mixed fleet, which also makes delivery and spare-parts planning easier. Companies that want to represent Platfon in their own market can apply through the dealer and distributor form on the website.
Platfon states that its support team is available 24/7 before and after the sale. Before you order, ask how spare parts are supplied to your country, which wear parts are worth keeping in stock, what the warranty covers and which documents come with the machine. Certificates and catalogs are available on the Documents page.

A machine leaving Konya has to be prepared, loaded, shipped and cleared through customs at its destination. Whether those costs sit with Platfon or with you depends on the agreed delivery terms, so make sure two quotes use the same terms before you compare them.
Weight and size drive freight costs. The PRT18 models weigh 8,000 kg (17,637 lb), while an AT5.5 weighs 400 kg (882 lb), and stowed dimensions decide how many units fit on one truck or in one container.
Before first use, check the machine against its delivery documents, run the function tests described in the operator manual and complete any registration or initial examination your country requires.
Ask for the CE declaration of conformity and the operator manual together with the quote, and confirm which language versions your operators and inspectors will need.
Owners carry inspection duties that vary by country, from the operator's daily pre-use check to periodic thorough examinations by a competent person. Budget for them from day one.
Routine maintenance covers hydraulic oil and filters, pins, tires, controls and safety functions. Add battery care for electric scissor lifts or engine servicing for diesel machines.
Downtime often costs more than the part itself. Ask which parts are recommended for stock, how parts are dispatched to your country and whether your own technicians or a local partner will handle service.
For a fleet of the same model, a small common stock of wear parts usually pays for itself the first time a machine would otherwise stand idle.
A well-maintained machine with complete inspection and service records keeps more of its value when you replace it. That residual value belongs in the calculation from the start.
If you only need a machine for a few weeks a year, buying may not be the right answer. Platfon sells machines and does not rent them, but our rent-or-buy guide compares both options honestly. For the full model range, start with the scissor lifts page.
Tell us the working height, load, site conditions, quantity and delivery country. Platfon will reply with a written quote for the model that fits.
